Obsidian is a very protective stone, and is excellent for removing negativity. It is also excellent protection against psychic attacks. In particular obsidian protects the gentle from abuse, and is used to cut attachment cords to release one. It is a very grounding stone, and very healing. Obsidian is also an excellent manifestation stone. Physically it is said to benefit the stomach, intestines, muscle tissue, and can rid one of bacterial or viral infections. It sharpens and focuses internal and external vision, and helps get in touch with buried issues before they explode. Obsidian is related primarily to the root chakra, though differing colors may relate to different chakras as well.

How To Use:

To scry using a pendulum, you hold the small end in your hand, remaining very still, and ask a yes or no question. If the pendulum moves in a circle, the answer is yes, and if it moves from side to side, then the answer is no. This is a very basic explanation, but let your intuition guide you. When asking questions, try holding the Pendulum over your favorite stone or crystal for clearer answers. Your pendulum is now ready to use!

How to Set Your Intention:
When you first receive your jewelry, one of the most important components is setting intentions. Sit quietly, holding your piece in both of your hands. Breathe in the highest white light and then visualize your intention for your piece. You may also say your intention aloud if you would like. The crystals are listening and ready to carry your intention.

Cleansing Your Jewelry:
Your gemstones will work best when they are cleared and cleansed. So, cleanse and activate them often! Here are some recommended ways to cleanse your jewelry:
1. Place your jewelry on the soil or branches of a healthy houseplant for 24 hours.
2. Place your jewelry outside under the sun or full moon for at least 4 hours (overnight).
3. Steadily hold your jewelry in the smoke of a burning Sage stick, Palo Santo stick or incense until your piece becomes still.
4. Lay your jewelry on a piece of Selenite or Quartz Crystal for at least 6 hours.
